Super soft, comfy and warm 100% organic merino fleece jacket with wooden buttons. This is perfect for the midseason and under a jacket/raincoat in the winter. Wool fibre is an albumen fibre that is similar to human skin with respect to its component parts. Wool possesses excellent warmth retention, regulates cutaneous respiration and the oxygen exchange. Wool is also moisture-regulating, i.e. it can absorb up to one third of its own weight of moisture and, pending external conditions, return it to the environment. The new wool the Engel company uses comes from Merino sheep. Merino virgin wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cosy. The wool comes from Merino sheep in their natural environment, which are organically farmed and therefore live a healthy and stress-free life. The usage of pesticides is forbidden both on pastures and on animals.

All of Engel’s products are organic (GOTS certfied) and produced in Germany. All the dyestuffs used are free from heavy metals and free from harmful AZO-dyes.

Cuddly, cosy and warm – that is how fleece clothing from pure organic Merino virgin wool feels. Due to a high content of wool fat, the wool is dirt and water resistant and regenerates itself by airing-out in air containing a lot of oxygen. So it is unnecessary to wash fleece clothing frequently.

Care instructions: You should wash your fleece clothing very gently – by hand in lukewarm water. Do not wring or rub wool products, as this could cause felting.
